About Our Doctor
Dr. Shekhani has been practicing Medicine in the United States since 1991 independently. He completed his Family Medicine residency in 1991 and mainly practiced Primary Care and Industrial Medicine.
Later, Dr. Shekhani decided to pursue the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Since he was working in Industrial Medicine, Dr. Shekhani used to refer patients to Physical Medicine specialists for pain relief. This was his introduction to the field he would later join. He soon joined Rush University, a top-ranking university, and specialized in Physical Medicine. Upon completion of the program, Dr. Shekhani moved to the metro St. Louis area in 1997 and has been practicing Physical Medicine since.
To stay abreast of current knowledge, Dr. Shekhani has always completed more than the 50 hours of training required by most states. He has also authored numerous articles and written widely on healthcare issues. Dr. Shekhani is Board Certified in Physical Medicine, which is the highest degree in the field.

Honesty and Team Approach are the two cornerstones of our practice. When the patient, therapist, chiropractor and our office work together, we increase the functionality of the patient. By informing and educating our patients, they better understand the disease process, which helps us achieve milestones in our patients' progress in a faster and successful manner.
